east facade, before and after. in an effort to prevent precipitation from the roof from falling on the front steps, the roof planes were re-configured to redirect it to the side. This reconfiguration involved deconstructing the false soffit and re-using 90% of the material for the new roof and wall construction. the old cedar shingles were removed and reapplied to accommodate the new geometry, with the deficit mmade up with new fsc certified shingles.
